Do I need to install any font???
No, if you are able to see this on any recent browser and are satisfied
with the Tahoma font in Windows XP or Sans sarif in other operating
systems, even if you do not have an Urdu font installed that is listed for
"Samt".
The default font of the site is
a Nastaleeq looking Naqsh font (See the image on the left panel, click
to download). If you want the pages in that font, you need to download
this font (Urdu Naqsh). Click on the icon. Select "Save as" and
point to a folder in your hard disk. Remember the location.
If you already have Nafees Web Naskh font installed from
CRULP.org, you also do not need to download any font, unless you
want a
Naslaleeq look of Urdu Naqsh. If you prefer this, do not download Naqsh
and click on Nafees Web Naskh on the left panel and select "Save as" as
above,
To install Font:
Open the zip file in the folder where you have downloaded the font file(s). Unzip at the same or a different location.
Open Control Panel, select Fonts. In Fonts folder, go to File Menu and
select "Install New fonts". When asked, point to the folder where you
have unzipped the font file (.ttf). Once the system lists the font(s)
in the folder, select the required font. The font would be installed. Refresh
the web page if already open.
